First impressions are important. It was only an AC diag/recharge , however I was met with the epitome of what customer service and professionalism should be. The pricing was fair, and they answered and explained all my questions thoroughly. It may have just been an AC recharge, but I absolutely will be giving them another shot when I need something done, from oil changes to something more catastrophic. I'd trust them to get me back on the road.

They got me in right away, were pleasant and thorough, did the work promptly and properly, charged me the exact amount of the estimate (tho I did get $20 off for being a new customer😁), and followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I don’t know what else I could reasonably expect from an auto repair shop; these folks are doing it right. Hence, 5 stars and my personal guarantee that the next time ol’ CeCe requires the services of a professional she’ll be getting it at ASR.

I have been looking for a new mechanic shop and I think I found the one! I was met with professionalism and immediate attention to my 4WD issues. The team at ASR was able to diagnose and repair my truck with great care and excellent service. An all around pleasant experience- yes- at the mechanic shop! I will be back for all my future vehicle issues.

Asked for just an oil change and got a $2750 estimate on repairs for my 2003 Suburban with 242000 miles. And, upon getting the car back, within a few miles the brakes failed.

Mr. McBride, Thank you for your review. I believe you have given us a great example as to why we do vehicle inspections on every vehicle that comes into our shop. It sounds like we gave you an excellent and accurate account of the condition of your vehicle. Including the fact that your brakes were in really bad shape. We made you 100% aware of this safety issue before your daughter left. (with pictures as proof) We provide this to add value to the services we provide. I’m sorry you have taken it as a disservice. You had told us that you have done "90% of repair/maintenance work on the car including brakes two years ago". You declined all repairs and stated you would look closer your next opportunity. At ASR we don't use fear to incite uncertainty and doubt to drum up business (as you had stated in the first version of this review before you edited it). We gave you the facts, in certain terms leaving no doubt your vehicle needed repairs. We can give you advice, but can't make you follow it. You spoke to our advisor after the fact and was blaming us for the brakes failing. You stated that you didn't authorize invasive testing of the brake fluid. I would like to take this opportunity to try and clear that up as well. Brake fluid is checked by removing the brake master cylinder's reservoir cap. We use a test strip (a thin piece of paper) slightly dip the strip in the fluid. The strip provides a visual reference for brake fluid copper corrosion levels, a strong indicator that the fluid needs to be replaced. I apologize we had a misunderstanding and I wish you the best.
